Installing the CVR640 on digital NV devices
· The CVR640 is fitted with a mount which enables the unit to be affixed to a Weaver rail of your NV device.
· If your NV device does not have a Weaver rail, the CVR640 can be attached with the help of the supplied ¼” tripod socket adaptor. To do this, screw the adaptor into the tripod socket of a digital NV device and attach the CVR640 to the Weaver rail of the adaptor.
Software
The delivered memory card contains useful software which includes files as follows:
· CVR640 Driver – Driver software for the CVR640 which serves to connect the unit to your PC. Install this driver before connection.
· CVR640 Video Converter – Software for work in the mode of video recording to a PC hard disc.
· CVR640 Date_time setup – Software which enables setup of running time/date and choice of recording format.
The CVR 640 is compatible with operating systems Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Note: It is recommended that before use of the CVR640 you should save the supplied software to your PC. In case of loss of the software files, you can e-mail us at support@yukonopticsglobal.com
Connection to PC
· Start the CVR640.
· Once you have uploaded the driver software, connect the CVR640 with the supplied USB cable to your PC – the CVR640 will be detected as a removable disc. The CVR640 can be turned off now – it will be powered via the USB.
· With the help of Total Commander or another file manager you can handle the SD card as a removable disc.
Note: Transmission speed from the memory card to the PC will not exceed 1Mb/sec.
Video recording to a PC hard disc

· A window as shown in pic. 3 comes up. Now you will be able to handle the files recorded on the unit's memory card. Press the “EXIT” button when finished.
Note: when the unit is attached to the PC in this mode, the SD memory card will not be available via an explorer!

To download files to your PC, click on one or several files, choose with the “Browse” button a folder where you want to save the files to, and press “Download”.
· Connect the NV to the CVR640 (see the section “Connection and video recording”).
· Launch the file “CVR640 Video Converter”. Programme window will show up (see pic 4).
